Carers Strategy Event, Thursday 9th June, 12 - 3pm

A message from our colleages at Harrow Carers, Harrow Council and the NHS:

We are seeking Unpaid Carers who can contribute to the development of the Harrow Borough Partnership Carer Strategy. The strategy is a document that sets out how the council and NHS will fulfil their statutory duties and wider commitments to unpaid Carers in Harrow. We are seeking people who have experience of unpaid care in the last 5 years.

We don’t need a background in strategy, but you need to bring an open and inclusive mind to the concerns that Carers may experience. We are particularly interested in recruiting Carers with a range of experience and skills that reflect the diverse needs of Carers in the borough.

What’s involved? Attend a workshop on 9th June 12- 3pm followed by a further online meeting to look at the draft strategy before presentation to the boards in the Council and Health Partnership
